I took a photo of the moon yesterday afternoon. It was just visible in the sky. Sadly, it looks more like a whispy cloud.
My photos will appear on Friday (not the one of the moon though).
Astronimically speaking, the moon's better like this because the craters are easier to see - as in your photo - half-lit.
